Delete my Lenarta account
This page explains how to delete your account in the Lenarta app (ch.lenarta.app), published by Lenarta (Albert Ghazaryan). You can make this request without reopening or reinstalling the app.
If you still have your phone
In the app: Me, then Delete my account. A 10-second bar lets you cancel. After that, your access is deleted at once, on all your phones, and the app confirms it. Your management is told.
If you no longer have your phone
- Write to support@lenarta.ch or privacy@lenarta.ch, from any address, with your name, your company's name and the sentence "I request the deletion of my Lenarta account". Do not send a password, a code you received, or a copy of an identity document.
- We tell your employer about your request and check it with them: an e-mail address does not prove who you are.
- We delete your access and your phones within 3 working days after the check, and at the latest 30 days after your message. We write to you when it is done. If the check does not succeed, we also write to tell you.
You can also ask your management to make the request to us. There is no form: this page collects no data. How your message is handled is described below.
What is deleted at once
- The link between you and your account.
- All your registered phones and their session tokens.
- Invitations that were not used.
- Lenarta's data on the phone where you delete your account. On a lost phone, this data stays encrypted, the phone can no longer connect, and it disappears when the app is uninstalled.
What is kept, by whom, for how long, why
| Data | Kept by | For how long | Why |
| Your clock-ins, their corrections (without the free-text sentence, erased earlier), your days, the event register | Your employer (Lenarta hosts them for it) | At least 5 years after their validity expires (art. 73 para. 2 OLT 1, Ordinance 1 to the Labour Act), then erased or anonymised within the following 12 months, unless another legal obligation applies | Your employer must keep these registers available to the authorities (art. 46 Labour Act) |
| The free-text sentence of a correction (reason “Other”) | Lenarta, for your employer | At most four months after you send it, then erased | Your management needs to read it to reply. Your hours record does not need it: it keeps only the reason you chose |
| Your signed work orders and accounting records (future functions, not in this version) | Your employer | 10 years from the end of the financial year | Art. 958f para. 1 of the Code of Obligations |
| Your team member record (display name, role, language) | Your employer | During your employment, then as long as the registers in which it appears | Personnel file. Deleting your account does not end your employment contract |
| The trace of your account deletion (register event) | Lenarta and your employer | As long as your employer's register | Prove that you requested it |
| The line of a revoked phone (identifier, dates, reason) | Lenarta | 12 months at most | Detect abuse |
| Technical logs (technical identifiers, no name or content) | Lenarta | 30 days at most | Security |
| Your request message and our reply | Lenarta | At most 12 months after the last reply | Prove the request was handled |
| Backups | Lenarta, through its hosts | A deleted item disappears from the backups within 30 days at most (daily encrypted copy in Zurich, kept 30 days) | Recovery after an incident |
For a copy of your hours, or to have your team member record erased, contact your employer: it decides, according to its legal obligations. You can also write to privacy@lenarta.ch.
Your management is told that you deleted your account, and on what date. It keeps your hours and can invite you again if you come back. The app tells you before you confirm.
Our providers
Lenarta deletes this data on its servers. Its hosting providers (Exoscale, and Aiven which operates the database) delete it from their backups on the schedule in the table.
